You f#*ers only pay 58 $ for 21 gallons of fuel?! I made the conversion using canadian prices: it's 107 $US on the other side of the border!

He is paying a ton for gas up in the Great Lakes State, down in the Sunshine State we are paying about 2.61 at Shell that same fill-up would cost me $54.80 here.

I go up to Michigan every year, and there is something about the gas up there though. Might be worth the extra cash as I typically get amazing mileage going up to the UP.

One of many things cheaper in America :flag:

(Although, I would consider OPs price on the higher end)

That fillup would have cost $49.80 today where I live.

And I’d love to be able to put that into my jeep... us two door owners are cursed with the itty bitty tank. I typically put 15-16 gallons in it.

How did you drain the Jeep so much?

The most I’ve ever filled up was 19.8 gallons with the gauge telling me it’s completely empty and the range indicator showing less than 10 miles. You must’ve been way past that?

Isn't the official capacity 21.5? Then the next question is- is it possible to actually fill the tank completely?

Years ago I had a Taurus SHO and I never put gas in it within 5 gallons of the stated capacity. People thought that it just had a big reserve when the gauge said empty. So I didn't worry too much about finding gas when it got close to E, then one day it ran out. I walked 4 few blocks to a station and borrowed a can. Then I drove back to the station and filled it up. When it clicked off 4 gallons shy of the stated capacity I kept slowly trickling gas into it until I got the full stated amount in there. So 21.5 gal. capacity is great but not if you can't actually get it all in there.

I don't think I've ever put more than 17 gallons in my JLU Sport.
