Just an FYI...using battery tender charges the ESS battery as well

My “start stop” was not ready all winter. I only drove it if the weather was nice and no salt. I hooked up my Battery Tender Jr. to the main batter...the weather finally got on in Chicago, so I took it out. The start stop function worked right away. I know a lot of people asked...so at least I think I know it works.

Mine hasn't worked all winter either, I took it as a blessing, however should I be concerned that the ESS battery isn't charged enough for the ESS to work?
