Wondering if anyone swapped their stock sport wheels/tires for the JT/Gladiator Rubicon Launch Edition Wheels Tires? I have the Granite Crystal wheel and was thinking of the wheel pictured. The tires are are 285 70 17 so I am not worried about them fitting. My question is if they will sit in more because of the axel difference?

I was originally just looking at buying the exact same tires (Wildpeak ATW), but found these take offs at a better deal. If they aren't going to stick out more (negative offset I guess) because of the wheel coming from a Rubicon, I want to stay away from it. I'd rather just use my stock wheel I think. Also I don't know the weight difference between the two if that really matters.

Last thing would you add a spacer for more of an aggressive look and if so what size?

Daily Driver; No offload; still want a more aggressive look than stock. Sorry a little new to this stuff.

Aftermarket will get you more bang for your buck.

To answer your question. The wheels offset is no different than yours. Axles might be wider by the wheels themselves are the same.

Thanks for the response.

Yeah I was just planning on tires for now, but stumbled across these wheels with the same tires for $100 more. I was thinking new wheels for $100 not too bad. Thoughts on wheel spacers?

Id go for it. If you are not happy with how far they stick out, add the spacers.

Those tires and wheels will fill up the wheel well real nice, I put Rubicon take-offs on my sport and liked the look. I later put on Rubicon flares and it looked odd as the tires were too tucked in. I put on Spyder Trax spacers to fix it.

Has anyone seen pictures of the Gladiator Rubicon upgraded wheels on a JL? Not sure if I like the bright white highlight around the edge of the five spokes. But for 900, brand new with Falken Wild Peaks, I may just pull the trigger.

The wheel in the picture is not the Launch Edition wheel. That's the standard wheel that comes with the Rubicon trim. The LE wheels are black with a red Jeep on it and look similar to the Willy's wheel.

There is another Rubicon wheel that has the white rim around it, from the Gladiator. These are the upgraded Rubicon wheels.

Just curious how they'll look on my granite crystal Sahara.

Nevermind, just looked at the build and price feature for the Gladiator, chose my color and just looked at the front end of the truck. Now I know what they'll look like...

Couple from before I put them on. One from after. I’ll get some good pictures later when I’m back home.

Shameless plug, but if anyone is looking for a spare, I have 3 needing new homes. I went the JT route as well.
