JL Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

I just received an email that my Jeep is in! Exactly 20 days from my order date!

Delivered 24sept.2019!

Well, sounds like we've got 3 ocean blue JLURs in the production queue within 10 days of each other, so I guess we'll find out whose makes it out first!

Good news! went to paint yesterday and still in paint

9/13 - Ordered, VON #, D status
9/16 - VIN received
9/17 - D1 status
9/24 - E Status (Frame)
9-25 - F Status
9/26 - still in F status (Paint)
9/27 - ?? (hooefully G - Trim)

How are the other Ocean Blue Rubi's coming along? I know we had a bunch ordered at same time. Hoping next Saturday I get it which will be 3 weeks from order to delivery but guessing that's best case now.

I have the build sheet and the window sticker how do I find the status of the wrangler ?

Did you have to call the dealer to get the status or can you look it up ?

You can do either. I go on Jeep Chat and talk to an FCA Agent, they have always been very helpful.

Nothing they do at the plant is in any order or in any way planned. I'd assume coincidence. lol

Hahaha, well, you're doing a lot better than I am - My OBJLUR was ordered on 9/10 but I'm still in D1. It's amazing that the scheduling can be such a mystery but oh well, it is what it is!

I don't feel bad about checking in with the Jeep chat people every 3 business days or so - maybe someone will take the hint and make the information more visible to consumers.

It seems to move fast once it starts. I think them build them in 1-2 days really. I am now in I status which hopefully turns to J quickly

Hey guys, just curious about this tracking system, the above updates you're sharing is coming from the chat/dealer, there is no other ways of getting these statuses, correct? The build sheet has finally generated but really tells me nothing useful....

In my view it has 2 uses:

1) Once the build sheet is created, it means that your Jeep has gone into D1 status. It also allows you to confirm that all the options you selected are included in the order.

2) Once the window sticker is available, it means that the Jeep has left the factory and is in KZ status.

Otherwise, yes you are correct. Jeep chat will give you the bulk of the useful status updates.
