I just ordered a 2020 rubicon on 9sept.19 and got my vin the very next day. I take it, this is a good thing?

Congrats!!!! Here is some history from my order, build and delivery. While timing varies some from order to preset, many have been pretty similar to this. Within a few weeks anyway.

JLJP74 (Sahara) Ocean Blue Metallic 2.0L 4 Dr.
Ordered: 7/27/2019
VIN: Received 8/5
D1 Stage: 8/15
F Stage: 8/17
G Stage: 8/19
Build info: on forum 8/20
JB Stage: 8/21
JS Stage: 8/29
KZ Stage: 8/30
Sticker: on 8/31
Arrived at dealer: 9/4
Added 2” lift, 20” wheels with 35” tires: 9/10.

I was just told my 2020 rubicon is in the shipping stage, any idea how long from “shipping stage” until delivery?

I ordered a mostly loaded Ocean Blue JLUR 2.0 Turbo from Pan Mantua at Criswell in Gaithersburg, MD. Got the 8% under invoice deal that everyone gets around here. I live in Maryland about 30 minutes from dealer. I know my dealer said the shortest they had from order to delivery was 8 days but on average right now is about 3 weeks.

09/13 - Ordered and VON received
09/16 - VIN Received "D" Status
09/17 - D1 status

Checked today and now D1 status and “ready to build soon”. I asked when it went to that status and she said 2 days ago which was 17th. Hoping by Monday we are actually in production. Any update from other Ocean Blue Rubis?

Depends on where you are. In Arizona, it took me 21 days from KZ to delivered to dealer. Others in AZ and California I’ve seen in 17-19 days. If you are in Pennsylvania, I would imagine 4-10 days based on what I’ve seen others post for that area of the country.

Also, shipping stage should mean status code KZ

It did seem fast to me too, but I won't complain!

They worked for me, make sure you don’t put a space after the =. Also, if your car was recently ordered, the sticker/build doesn’t show up until later in the process.
