I am currently running a stock JLUR 3.6/Auto. I am about to roll over 1 yr 21k miles. and have kept my promise to the bank account to wait 1yr to get a lift and bigger tires. when I first purchased I was set on 35s but now after wheeling with some others and reading on the forums. I am in the standard conundrum of 35s or 37s. one of my main reasons to not just pull the trigger is I haven't seen a lot of people with 37s and stock gears, tie rod, drag link, or track bar. I don't want to have to re gearing or upgrading the components since everything is working. I love my rig/love to get off the beaten path. but also love to not spend $$$ on poor researched decisions. So after my long story my question is. Who is running stock stock gears, tie rod, drag link, or track bar over 10k mi/km and has there been any issues observed?

You'll be fine. I'm running every steering component stock, along with gearing. Like I've said in the past, you'll regret installing 35's long before you will 37's. Your V6 auto will handle them fine. I ran them on my JLUR V6 with no problems other than winding it out up the hills, but that's going to happen up here without forced induction whether you re-gear or not. If you had the manual you might look into a re-gear but not with the auto.

Thanks and nice to hear this from someone that has to deal with the Mountains. Still debating and pricing everything out. my original budget didn't take in count the spare relocation/tailgate mods.

I run the 37 on my stock wheels, no spacers and no relocation on the tailgate. I did spend 50 bucks on the RC tailgate reinforcement. I figured for that cheap a price, why not. It's pretty stout. I don't think it even needs it.

From my understanding, its anywhere from 13-16 city and 19 highway, I'm sure it really depends on driving style. I know I get about 16.5 here in the Springs (i don't have far commute). but just this last week I've had 16.5 mpg with a whole day in 4hi/lo. I'd be curious to know real world #'s also.

Also, do you like the 2 1/2 lift on 35's? How has it handled off-road. I think I like the look of the fender gaps, that's another dilemma I have between the decision on 35s & 37s. oh 1st world problems!

I've had my 37's on for 20,000 miles. I haven't had any problems with them. I don't do any hard off roading very often but have ran Hell's Revenge and Fins and Things in Moab with them. I've been hand calculating my fuel since I got it and am at 17.8 for everything. Good luck with our decision!
