Depends on the tire size.Hello everyone,
I just regeared my 2021 JLUR yesterday to 4.88.
I changed the settings on the tazer as well,
My question is: is it normal now with the 4.88 to see 4th and 5th gear at around 40-50 kmh,
And like 8th at around 75 to 80kmh?
Totally, I have 4.56 with 35 inch tires and am on 8th gear at 70km/h. On the highway it now stays on 8th on inclines that would previously have the transmission downshift as low as 5th gear to climb with oem 3.45 gears.Hello everyone,

Just to cover all the bases.i Got 37s
On flat ground? Sure, that seems fairly normal I think. I'm not regeared, using OE 4.10 axles on 37's, and I drop into 8th pretty regularly above about 100kmh. 4.88 gearing is about 20% taller, so seeing 8th gear at 20% slower seems about right to me.Hello everyone,

yeah tire size is set, I will check the speedometer today with the gps app, I have the suspension that it might be off.Just to cover all the bases.
Did you use the tazer to correct for tire size as well?
How close does your speedometer match a GPS when driving down the road?
If you're adjusting tire size while stopped by the side of the road, you want to make sure you shut off the Jeep after changing the size. Let it sit for a good 30 second to a minute. The computer takes a little bit after shutting off to fully power down. If you restart too soon it'll still have the old tire size.yeah tire size is set, I will check the speedometer today with the gps app, I have the suspension that it might be off.
I set the tazer to 37 and I run the Baha Boss AT.
I’ve read that the tires usually are not true to size
From the Tazer manual:Also, the transmission does adapt to your driving. When you change gear ratio it may take a bit to reset itself and figure out it may be shifting too soon.
