JLUR not getting compliments

My Sahara gets compliments all the time.
Maybe you should have got another Sahara.

Seriously though, I do get compliments all the time. It's my first Wrangler so no frame of reference as far as Jeeps are concerned, but I just assumed it was "a Jeep thing". Maybe not. The last vehicle I owned that got so much attention was a '97 Steeda Mustang. Mustangs are also known to have a large following, so I assumed the Jeep thing was similar to the Mustang thing.
Maybe my JL is just as awesome as I think is.

I have to say I was scared to buy the soft top, and now I love it.. there are no negatives at all , I will never go hard too again

I bought my Jeep off wild hair. Didn't want Hard Top since its harder to take off and getting caught in Texas Thnderstrom would not be pretty. My Son has Soft Top. I was getting an oil change at Dealership who I buy my Rams at and looking at Jeep on the Showroom floor. Didn't have the Breakline where Hardtop would be. My friend who is Sales Manager now walked over and pushed the button and Sky One Power Top opened. My Wild Hair popped up and she came with me off Floor. Texas has cooled off some now and getting to go Topless now. Waiting to take Doors off soon. Yesterday was a perfect 70-degree day. I love that I can close Top when storms pop up !! I get complaints about Jeep and the Sting-Gray color more and more now.

I swear in my JKU sahara white I had somebody say nice Jeep once a day.. I have had my sting gray JLU rubicon for a month, it’s lifted with 35s and have not had one person comment on it.. anyone else experience this? I think my rig is awesome, wondering if it’s too cool and people don’t talk to me because they think I am a douchebag for having a cool rig lol

I used to not even notice Jeeps much. When my Son got his and set it up I started noticing Jeeps more around here driving. I kind of had that Wild hair starting around that time. But now I look for Jeeps and spot way off. I guess its a Jeep Thing !! I saw this Really Decked out Jeep and pulled up beside it and an older woman was driving and she waved.

This Jeep is sitting on the Showroom floor now. My friend ( Sales Manager ) has told me he has Silver one just like it coming but a Rubi with Sky One Top and poking me with a smile. He and I go back to Junior High school days. 48 years worth so I am worried about my wild hair !!!

Man I've gotten compliments for my Sport. granite crystal (common color). And it is not even rigged yet . Maybe it is the 2 door/real Jeep factor?

I think your Rubicon is perfect btw. Take the doors and top off and drive it around, you will get the compliments. People don't know what 35's are and all that. They don't even know what a Sahara or Rubicon are. This one time this guy was talking to me about my Jeep as I parked on the street, and was telling me that I had the off-roading version and that was cool... all they see is a "car that looks like a toy" and they say "cool Jeep!".

I get compliments daily. Red is eye catching and I think brighter colors bring out the character of the wrangler more.
