I like that radio and may go that route except figuring out a antenna mount on the spare tire mount. What was the length of the antenna cable you used? Any slack left?

I bought the poison spyder mount that was advertised as a JK/JL compatible mount. I have the Rough Country spare tire relocator and there was not anything even close to mount the spyder bracket. I found the best location and welded it on.....some skills are useful...lol

Nice Job! One question: Does that battery power aux tie in have power with key off?

There are 2 aux wires that don't run through the aux switches. One is switched (pink/orange) and one is direct to battery constant on (red/white). You can choose either. See the pic below.

Just installed my cobra 75WXST cb.. went well. Ran through tire jack location and under rear tie down bracket and under carpet and plastic trim. No wires visible..just a note...drill hole in bumper ax1/2" closer to body then I did or antenna will be at slight rear back angle due to bumper bracing.

I have my cb antenna mounted exactly like yours, at least from what I can tell in the pictures. Except I keep getting an antenna fail when I run diagnostic. Do you have any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
