I hear the regear is more critical with the v6, couldn't tell you. I've only driven stock v6 JL's and have been underwhelmed every time. The 2.0t works fine with 4.10's and 37's, especially once I added the superchips performance tune. We will see how she does with the 38's that went on today.

I have the same JLUR with 2.0T. Iā€™ll likely go with a 1.5ā€ lift and 315 KO2s. Iā€™ll get a tazer or superchip as well. If Iā€™m having performance issues, doesnā€™t seem common, iā€™ll regear.

That is a multi layer question. If you are looking for a budget friendly 1.5" lift I'd go with skyjacker.

If budget is unimportant, Clayton makes an amazing 1.5" kit. It comes with all the components of their 3.5" kit just shorter springs (which means springs would be the only thing you need if you decide to go bigger). By the time you add shocks you will be pushing $2500-3k but the Jeep will flex way better than stock and you'll have adjustable track bars and control arm to dial everything in.

If you are willing to go to 2" there are many more options from eibach if you want better quality than skyjacker but still a budget friendly price.

To synergy if you want better quality and longer front LCA's (the jeep drives far better with more caster than factory 6-7ā° in my experience)

To a multitude of other kits.

Just throwing it out thereā€¦ if anyone is looking for ~1.5 to ~2 inch lift. I have the Xtreme recon suspension with less than 100 miles on sale.
Location is Northern California.

Recently purchased a 2020 JLU Rubicon and am just starting my build. I traded in my 2019 SAHARA and absolutely love the sturdy feel and tighter handling of the RUBICON.

So far, Iā€™ve just been adding small accessories such as floor mats, stubby antenna, door still guards, tinted windows, and lock covers.

Iā€™m now looking to start on the next phase of my build focusing on wheels and tires. I understand that with the JLUR gearing and axles there should be little impact to the handling moving to 35s. This vehicle is my daily driver and primary focus will always be retaining the on-road driving abilities. I do however take the vehicle on light / moderate trails on the weekends.

If the assumption that there should be little impact in moving up to 35s (315s KO2s) is correct, what additional modifications would be recommended. I have come across articles stating lifts/ leveling kits, and reinforced tire carrier are recommended.

My understanding is that 35s should be ~1ā€ increase above and below the axil; thus a 1ā€ lift should retain the factory spacing in the wheel well.

Essentially looking for a recommended build sheet for an aftermarket XTREME RECON JLUR.

Iā€™m fairly new to off-roading and modifications! Any advice is greatly appreciated. Photo of the Jeep below.

I got the Mopar 2ā€ lift installed by the dealer along with some new wheels (Fuel Beast) and tires 315/70r17 BF Goodrich K02ā€™s. I also got the Mopar reinforced tailgate and backup camera extension. Having the lift installed by dealer eliminates worry about warranty. Rides like a dream.

Is the extra 1.5-2 inch over the stock rubi suspension? Iā€™m looking to add just a little more height and 315s on my JLUR
