Hey all, I've been reading and lurking on here for about 6 months now. Picked up a 2021 JLU Willys in Sarge Green back in November. Just put the 2.5" Teraflex ST/2 kit on, 1.75" spacers with FOX 2.0 IPF shocks. I was going to run the stock wheels/tires till they needed replaced, but as soon as she rolled out of the shop, it looks like she was sitting on training wheels. I have to go bigger SOON. I'm stuck between a few different tire sizes. I was hoping to get some advice.

First Choice
315/70/17 - KO2s or Toyo AT3s
Next
35/11.5/17 - AT3s or Trail Grappler
Next
285/75/17 - AT3s

I saw 2 JL's parked side by side the other day. One had 285s and the other had the 315s. The 315's were only like 1/2" taller. I can get the 285s for like $50 less a tire too. I like the narrower tire on my stock 7.5" rims. But I also like the taller size.

Thoughts?

I ran 285/75/17 Toyo ATs on my JK. 2.5" lift with spydertrax spacers. It was spot on for what I wanted to do.

With my JLU I plan on going with 285/75/18 Toyo AT2 or Wildpeak AT3's.
They are approximately 1" taller than my previous 285/75/17 but still 11.5" wide.

@Arterius2 has a nice looking rig with a 2" lift and 285/75/18 Duratracs on OEM Sahara wheels
