Finally pulled my sound bar/dome light to disconnect the Sirius/Xm cable located toward front passenger side (yellow). Just to add to this. I used a Torx 25 (3) screws located in the front seat area in front of the sounder/dome light piece. retainer clip on left and right side, plus (2) more staggered in the middle which is part of the dome housing. Thanks for the visuals as that helps me out quite a bit.

The cheapest place I found it at the time was on Mopar One Online site for $58 (now it is $61).

L I called the dealer by me they wanted $175. They told me they don't even get it for $60 that's ridiculous I'm not going to pay $175

For additional info in regard to part numbers of the dome light (part # has changed) and for more info on the easy process of removing the dome light in a JL, read here..

Current part # for the dome light noted on the pic below.... will give you a dome light that behaves as the current model year JL and JT, where as all 5 lights (main light and the 4 map lights) illuminate automatically when you open the door.

Just finish mine and agree this is a great/easy upgrade!

Only issue (I know small one) is why FCA chose to have two different K ratings of the LEDs? Center one is ~6K (WHITE) and the side ones are ~3.5k (YELLOW). They should all be the ~6K range to match the other interior LEDs.

I just acquired and installed the newest revision of the dome... Part # 6CD43TX7AH .

All K ratings of the LEDs appear identical on this revision.

Center oval, LED is ~6K (WHITE) and so are the 4 side Led's.

With all my heart... ....... I want to publicly thank this deceased/donor, 2020 Gladiator ..... for giving it's life.... so I could acquire it's 6CD43TX7AH Dome Light...

GEEEEZ, what a major difference this revised dome light makes... and to think I drove 80,000+ miles with that piece of chittt dim dome light that was installed on my JL in 2018 at the factory..
