I'm going to get 35's eventually on my rubicon, I still don't know about getting a lift or not. Have any of you done any "moderate" rock climbing and how was the rubbing? I want to avoid a lift if possible but I live in AZ and i will be doing some stuff in Sedona, etc.

I went with the BFG TA/KO2 in 35's with no lift. Really happy with the ride and look.

Looks great, I think that’s what I’m doing as well. What dimensions are the tires?
315 70 r17 ?

No lift, BFG T/A KO2 315/70R17 Fuel Anza 17x8.5 5"BS +7.4mm offset. Absolutely no rubbing inside, more space than stock. Sticks out 2" from the fenders. Will be flexing it in a couple weeks off road to see if I am going to need a couple more inches (from a lift) or not. Gained at least one inch in height from the fender measurements pre and post.

I went cheap and got some ProComp steel wheels in 17X9 with 4.25" back space. Traded off some used 37's for some used 315-70/17 Mickey Thompson ATX P3's. It looks like I'll have some flex room but I won't know for sure until I hit Uwharrie in July.

35/12.50-17 no lift,
Sport, I believe - right? Important to mention that, especially since the thread title is Rubis.

Are you rubbing at all in daily driving? How do speed bumps go? Off-road, I’m guessing you might have some problems.

Ok, so if I like the amount of fender gap of 35s on a Rubi with no lift, does it stand to reason that going to 37s would warrant a 1” lift on front and rear to keep the same amount of fender gap?

I figure the 37s are 2” bigger than 35s, and 1/2 of that (1”) is on the bottom, and the other 1/2 of it (1”) is up top in the wheel well. So a 1” lift would keep the same amount of spacing with 37s that you see with 35s and no lift... light?

Anyone been able to run a 35/13.5 on with aftermarket wheels. How much offset looking at a wheel with 1 offset 9inch wide.
