This thread is "JLU Rubicon on 35s no lift". What happened here??
Some are on unsure of doing a lift no lift for one reason or another. This at least gives those still trying to figure out what to do a visual of what a 2" lift with 35" tires will do to their Jeep. If you feel this is not appropriate, I have no problem taking this down.

A final thought, when considering doing 35’s on existing suspension setup one must realize that Jeep engineered the stock setup to do a particular job, performance, and expected wear and tear. The consequences of a no lift installation should be considered.

These are 35x12.5's no lift, they rubbed more than I wanted offroad.
So I ended up putting Teraflex 1/2" spacers front/rear and Teraflex bumpstops(which are about an inch longer than the stock bumpstops).

I was thinking of the leveling kit at some point lifting a jl seems way too complicated vs lifting a jk

Has anyone been wheeling with 35's on a 0 offset and stock suspension?

Found some trails to explore this weekend and wondering how bad the rubbing is going to be.

It’s not bad, just sounds bad. Mainly polishes the plastic fender liners

I love the way BJACK’s looks. I’m doing 1” all around to account for the Metalcloak skids

Did ya go with the Teraflex shims or progressive bumps all together?

any issues with getting the 12.5" on the stock rims? did the tire shop have any issues with it?

No issues with the tire shop, but I didn't like how only the center of the tread was making contact with the road(unless I aired down to 20 psi) so I switched to 8.5" wheels.

Yes, they come with the 33 BF KO2s. It's a popular tires, so they are very easy to sell. You would be more than happy with those on the Rubi compared to the other models. My buddy is kicking himself for not forking up the cash difference between the Rubicon/Sahara now.
My 2021 JLUR came with Falken M/T. They are considered 33" but as per Falken they are 32.8". Close enough. I do not know, for the Rubicon, what determines BF Goodrich ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 vs. the Falken M/T 285/70 R17. Why do some get BFG and others get Falken?

Hi, I wanted to share thoughts/pics as I had a hard time researching the web & forums to ensure they would fit no problem without any additional MODs. I have drove it for a couple days and am more than happy. If you're considering what model to get and are looking to keep your tires 35 or under, i'd recommend the Rubicon. No need for any additional work with it coming in 4:10 gears w the Dana 44s (extra pts for details such as the hood vents) I'll caveat that for anyone who does hardcore rock crawling, not sure at full flex what the rubbing would be like, but for majority of jeep owners with daily driving & basic weekend offroading this seems perfect. I would figure any intense rock crawling wouldn't be in expensive new JL though :)

Here some pics (35x12.50x18 Kumho MT, Worx Rebel).

Your wheels and tires look great, especially with the black Rubi. When I got my JLUR, I had planned on going to 35" tires, not realizing my stock 17" x 7.5" OEM wheels are not wide enough for most 35" tires. Bummer! This forces new wheels to go with the 35" tires. I had not planned for that. But I guess I'm preaching to the choir here.

The Falken M/T are a no charge option. The BFG K02 are the stock selection. Just a click of an option box when the dealer orders them is how the selection gets decided.
