Any problems mounting the spare with these tires?

Tires look great. I'm eventually planning 35's at some point and really need to avoid lifting for garage clearance. I'll be cutting it close as is with just a slightly bigger wheel but think I'll have and inch or two to spare :)

35x12.50x17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, no lift, stock rims and no problems.

Here is my JLURD's progression:
  1. Completely stock
  2. With 35s (Mickey Thompson mud terrains on AEV Borahs)
  3. With 35s + Teraflex leveling kit (2" front / 1.5" rear)
Picture #3 also has Ace rock rails (although they are hard to see from this angle)

Hi Guys,
I live in austrailia and unfortunately mopar lift kit is not avaialble here for right hand drive version. So I am planning to get 315/70/17 and may be a 50mm bumper extension to avoid wheels touching fenders.
What do you think about this option where getting a bumper extensions for RLU Rubicon ? Will this cause body rolling when flexed ?

This is with no lift. Next week I'm installing a Teraflex leveling kit to add a more aggressive stance. [AEV Borah wheels in onyx]

Would love to see some side profile shots of that wheel/tire combo.
And are those AEV wheels JL spec or JK?

Look at post #408 in this thread for three profile shots in evolving stages. They are JL-spec wheels.

Guess I sorta misspoke; looking to know how much they stick out past fender flare. I know AEV's have less "poke" which is nice!

Thanks, man!

Hopefully this one is better for you. They don't stick out much at all.

Adding mine, a wheel that I couldn't find any pics on a Wrangler.
Fuel Nitro 5
17"x9"
-12 offset
315 K02s
Spare tire went on no with issues
I love the look, I'm seriously contemplating these exact rims for my granite JLUR, my only concern is I'm not sure how the bronze will work (you dont see many granite Jeeps with bronze rims), but aesthetically, I feel like look great, and at 27 lbs are light compared to most rims which seem to be 30-38 lbs.

Looking for long-term review from those who did a zero lift upgrade to 35" tires. Any issues or recommendations if you had to do it over. Also, did you have have to adjust steering and headlight alignments, and what air pressure did you settle with for a daily driver. Your input greatly appreciated as I am looking to make this change to a 2018 Jeep JLU Rubicon.

Jeep stance looks perfect! Did you use bumpstop kit with leveling kit that Teraflex recommends?

No bumpstops, but I did need to add longer front lower control arms because the lift put my caster to 4.5 degrees.

Thanks for the info ricknAZ, i am planning on this kit with 35" tire install. Seen Teraflex recommended extention kit and wasnt sure if I should order it too.Now I wonder if lower control arms are needed for my 2 door Rubicon? Which ones did you order?
Are you using stock shocks? Probably need to start a new thread, sorry

Thinking about the same thing down the line.

Basically will be looking for some 35's for a JLUR that ride nice on the road, and don't require any other changes to anything else including spare tire carrier. I'll probably even be happy finding some "smallish" 35's that measure more like 34 or something.

I'll probably be looking for A/T type tires.

It might be a ways down the road though as I plan to run the ones that come with it for awhile.

I believe the bump stops are for heavyish off-roading (I don't).

I installed these: https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/...stable-front-lower-control-arm-kit-0-4-5-lift

At Northridge, use code "sharktank" for 10% off.

I can't imagine that 2-door versus 4-door matters. I would guess you lose caster, after lifting, with either version.
