Looks pretty easy to make. Just take the one off you jeep, take it to a metal/we!ding shop, and have them make two pieces, that insert into each other. Of course it would need to be a mirror copy. When they are ready, take your jeep to them. Crawl under, attach them to the frame, and tack weld the two pieces together. Take the now one piece off, and properly weld it, then paint it. Simple.

How about buying the same driver's side hook, have a metal/welding shop take it apart, then re-weld it in the mirror image? That way you know it should be functional being the same exact metal, thickness, etc.

Wouldnt the hooks be facing the same direction still???

I'm not sure. Depends on the talent of the welding shop.

Wow, all these posts on a hook. Am I the only one who likes it? I think it looks ok with just one.

I have OCD tendencies, too, but this one doesn't bother me. What does bother me are the front ones. They are both red, but one has a much rougher texture than the other. Can't tell from a short distance when looking at it, but can tell when you touch it.

EVERY time my dad sees my Jeep, he tells me to get a second rear tow hook so it will be symmetrical. For whatever reason, it bothers him a lot. I never think about it unless he points it out.

I just bought one just for that reason

I just removed the "HOOK" on the drivers side--

The hook is 180 deg out any way and no way to "TURN IT"=

My 2019 JLUR came with one, on the drivers side, and it's Black. Front ones are red. Bothers the hell out of me. Going to swap it out with a red one.

I made sure my fuses were seated this evening and my rear tow hook appeared on the passenger side.

I don’t see how anybody can be OCD about the lack of symmetry for the toe hooks. The whole back of the Jeep isn’t symmetrical.
The tailgate hinges and handle are aren’t symmetrical, and the liscense plate is on one side of the bumper. There’s only tail pipe.

It amazes me how many complain they have OCD....especially on this site. Too many mentally unstable people.
