Hi i came across an opportunity to purchase a set of rubicon axles from a budy of mine.. they are off his 2018. I have a 2019 sport 6spd and was wondering what else besides the axles will i need to make it happen.
Is there other parts needed or just swap and go... how can i get the lockers to work?
Thanks in advance

Do it! They will bolt right in. They are a bit wider. You will need to wire some switches for the lockers and get a Tazer or the like to change your gearing in the computer. Not quite sure about driveshafts but I’m pretty sure they are the same.

Ok vs starting my own thread I’ll
Resurrect this one...

I bought New Take-off Rubicon axles with lines and brakes. Other than the wiring pigtail (eBay) and the Tazer, what else am I gonna need!?
I’m most curious about the Mopar Locker switch...can I install that and it work on my Sahara!? How do I get it to display the lockers on my dash!? Is that possible
With the Tazer!?

anything is possible. you can put the switches in and have the dealer flash the system so the lockers show in the display. i just installed rubicon axles on my sport. FYI your brakes are the same size as the Rubicon's as is the Drag link. so do not swap calipers which saves you time not needing to bleed the brakes. You WIll need a new Tie Rod. and i recommend the parking brake relocation kit from synergy. you will have to adjust the parking brake under the center console this was super easy to do. other then that the drive shafts are the same stock brake lines are the same and plenty long enough. if you have any further questions please PM me and i can help with any questions with the swap

I recommend getting a switch pod for the lockers. This will keep it out of the computer and allow you to use the lockers without having to be in 4L.. I’ve attached a couple pics just because
