I'm getting 24mpg in my Sport S. Do the Rubicon tires/gearing really kill the mpgs that much over the Sport/Sahara trim levels?

We have a JLUS and a JLUR. Both stock. Both 2.0 T. Both about 50/50 highway/city. Flat Florida. JLUR is 2 to 3 mpg less.

What’s your mpg on JLUR 2.0T?

I have not reset my trip "B" mileage indicator.
7100 miles , averaging overall 18.1 mpg
That's City and Highway combined. Can't complain. ( Considering Ohio uses winter blended fuel from November thru April).. Should be going up shortly... Purchased it last July

Only 3800 miles on mine, JLUR 2.0T. When it had 400 miles on it I drove from Los Angels area to Laughlin NV. I averaged 18.5mpg doing 85 to 90 mph . Few weeks later drove to the Central Coast of Calif. and averaged 23 mpg doing 65 mph. I usually get around 350 to 380 miles a tank before I fill up.

I have a 2019 JLR with no rear seat or muffler so lighter weight than normal.. April last year I took a long 5 week trip to the northern Idaho mountains. Jeep had 499 miles when I started. Total miles driven was 4,669. Used 298 gallons of gas for total cost of $746. About 75% was interstate/highway miles at 70 - 80 mph with the rest crawling up and down mountains from 5 mph and some town driving. I averaged 15.7 mpg. The dash trip computer said it was 18.9 mpg. I don't trust anything the dash computer says for average mph. I was satisfied with the mileage because of the speed, cold and mountain driving.

JLUR 3.6, 6000+ on the odometer - was getting 17-19mpg fully stock a few months ago. After 315/70s and a small 2"/1.5" lift dropped to around 17'ish (corrected) with a mix of city/highway. Couple weeks ago on an 800 mile round-trip to Ocotillo Wells, did just under 16mpg overall with a decent amount of time in the sand/hills and some 80+mph stretches there and back. I'm semi-old and usually pretty light on the skinny pedal though.

Heads up, the trips reset at 9,999 and you loose the average mpg for those miles. I had let the B trip run from day one and then lost the average due to the reset. Dang it!

I disagree. It is something else. I live in a flat state, drive mainly on the interstate with some city driving. I drive at 70 on the interstate, no heavy acceleration because we have no traffic.

I have been in the 14’s since new. I was at high 14’s bone stock. I added all my mods and thousands of lbs and now I am at low 14’s. These guys getting north of 20 just boggles my mind,
I just watched a vid of a gladiator with 38s and everything modded out with a rooftop tent getting around 15 mpg. he did regearing and is getting 17 mpg. what the hake is going on with my jeep! haha. i have way less stuff on my jeep and only getting around 13.5 mpg
