My boy and installed the Mopar Trailer wiring harnesses, time consuming but nice install. Tested the lights and it works, charges the trailer as we tow.

Just a JL NEWB FYI.... drove the Jeep about a week before the Tazer was delivered. Wasn’t happy w the rpms, mpgs on the highway and shifting was terrible w the 35s. Adjusted the tire size this evening and it’s great, mpgs went up and it’s way smoother.

Yes it’s all stock, runs great as a daily driver and dirt road weekender. I wouldn’t rock crawl w it (have a TJ for that) but love it as is. Hope that helps

I was running stock gears on my 35s for months now, 8spd auto. I didn't notice much change in performance after the tires, calibrated for 35s and all so shifting was perfect and rpms were fine. I just had lockers installed this week, regeared while there. Went from 3.45 to 4.56. Holy shit I had no idea there would be so much difference. Insane difference upon dead starts and shifting. OX locker in rear, Eaton Detroit Truetrac up front, Revolution gear sets. $4400 out the door. Couldn't be happier.

Looks Great. I'm doing a similar build so thanks for the advice and direction. If you get a minute maybe tell us about the rear locker. Likes, dislikes and why you chose that one.

That’s awesome on the power but wait till you see how those lockers perform on the trail !

Any difference in MPGs?

:I've only been driving the Jeep since Wednesday afternoon, not enough time to really tell. My average is reading 16.6 now, with a mix of wheeling, city and highway. I'll reset trip meter after a fill-up this weekend and get a good reading. I don't use the on the fly mpg reading. Fluctuates too much and I don't care about mpg too much. Hence not buying an economical vehicle

Thanks! I actually helped Foster_WV out a bit with questions regarding lift and tires and possibly steps for his wife :)
So the OX is bulletproof, so I've heard. Very solid choice. I wanted tough, simple and effective. I chose the cable due to simplicity and ease of use. And if it fails, I have a DriveOut tool for the OX which screws in place of cable in emergency. Sweet peace of mind. Also, when I asked the guy at the shop about ARB first, he asked if I already had onboard air. Nope. So it would be a lot of work and additional parts to run ARB. Plus more failure points. I prefer the OX hands down after being educated on it. The actuator is mounted at my fingertip's reach and can easily engage/disengage the locker at any time, in 2HI/4HI/4LO, at any speed as long as the tires aren't spinning out. I ran the cable up thru a floor drain under the rear seat, then to the actuator right up front. Only tested out the functionality yesterday after cable and actuator install and it works as intended. Very positive engagement and feel with the aluminum knob and ball that locks into position. I love it. If not this weekend, post turkey day Jeep run scheduled for the 30th. Can't wait!

Yeah we/she loves the way it drives/rides.
Thanks again for the help
I’d like to build her JL up like you are doing but it’s a mallcrawler and dirt road beast lol

Can’t wait to hear your feed back w lockers, my Jeep is locked F/R and it makes life way more fun.
