Had the upgraded tires on stock rims installed and ended up with the back-up beeper alarming every time we backed up. Before buying the extension kit I thought I would try something. We removed the tire and mounted again. This time I installed the bottom lug nut first and really tightened it down. Then installed the top two and tightened them. This way the bottom of the tire is pulled in as close a possible to the tailgate. It worked! Seems like just being a 1/8 of and inch out will cause the problem with the sensors picking it up. No false beeper alarm now. Maybe this will help someone with the same tire size that is having beeper problems.
