Check these (not best quality) zoomed in pics. The first shows “Rubicon” written in red on the front seats. Second shows the red tow hooks and a small red Willy’s on the rim. There’s also a red outline around the big RUBICON badge on the hood but hard to tell since the cars red too. Check out the White or Black Rubicon’s spotted and you’ll see it!Where do you see the red tow hooks, stitching, and trim around the logo?
I know that was something they did for the recon edition. Now if they do a JLU Recon, I agree, the red dash would look fantastic as long as it matches.
IMHO, if they did anything like your suggestion, it would be a fatal blow to the aftermarket unit market. There would be a rather large scream from the Wrangler enthusiasts; even louder than moving the front directional/parking lights off the grill..Still get the feeling (or hope) that the Infotainment / HeadUnit opens for ‘hidden’ storage. It just seems so detached and incongruous from the rest of the dash, that it seems to hint at some hidden feature.
Likely less automated, but hopefully more storage for things like wallets or phones, although, one would think they would have put their iPhone in there if it was an option... but they also didn’t use the USBs... SOoo....
Attached larger versions of what you're referring to. They're definitely there.Check these (not best quality) zoomed in pics. The first shows “Rubicon” written in red on the front seats. @Ahmed has a awesome zoomed pic where he discovered the red stitching as well.
