I just ordered and don’t care about the red dash (granite exterior) but sure would like to get clarification on the Rubi wheels. I want all black like many others so I ordered standard in accordance with Jeep marketing.

Can someone point me to the marketing brochure or document which says the all-black wheels are standard for Rubicon? Thx.

Those wheels right there match the description of the standard Rubi wheels in the ordering system. The all black was not available in the order system when I ordered. However, the black with polished lip, was.

The FAQ appears wrong on the standard and optional wheels, when compared to what was in the ordering system the day I ordered mine.

Clarification on this would be a BIG help.

Looks like Jeep is really having trouble with clear communication on this thing.

I'd like to see that, too. When I ordered mine, it said polished wheels with black pockets were standard. Same as on that pic of the orange or Punkin Jeep in this thread.

Those are fairly secure since you can't open them with the tailgate closed and locked.

That should really say:

• Sahara can fit up to 32 inch tires factory stock.

It's been updated in the FAQ.

Most likely punk'd. BUT don't go by that. Jeep is notorious for photoshopping colors for the web and are many times way off.

The red dash is going to look so stupid if the body color isn't red, or possibly black. I feel for anybody who wants a yellow, green, blue, or gray jeep.

It'll probably look pretty good on gray. Yellow isn't as hideous as I thought it would be. Blue, green or orange, not so sure.

in that video posted on another thread the jeep design guy said in rubicon you have your choice of red or gray!!! THANK YOU GOD......if that is the truth!!

Change it out. Can't be that hard. There will certainly be posts on how to do it not long after people start getting their JLs.
Don't let the dash color dictate your choice of body color.

Kind of silly that it has to come to that. Sounds like more options are coming. I'm not in a hurry to get what I want.
