You can run the 35's on stock rims. I also think the wider axles allow for 35's without spacers or rims with different backspacing. We'll see for sure, soon!

What's the preferred size for a 35, in metric? 305? 315? When I go to 35's, they will be KO2's, so I'd like to know the subtle difference in sizes. I want load range C or D and as light weight as possible.
Your choice is either 35x12.5r17 or 315/70/17. I think the 35x12.5 is and E rated tire. Myself, I am going with 315/70/17 duratrac which is D rated.

Are we sure the wheels are 7.5" wide? I don't see a width in the options list.

A little more info on removing the power top completely -- we heard back from Jeep about why they recommend that the power sliding top remain installed and it's because upon reinstallation the slide rails may be difficult to line up properly.

Hopefully this is helpful information for those considering the power top.
