JL Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

Ordered my first Wrangler on 4/24/19. Entered D1 on 4/26. On Thursday (6/6) I was still in D1 according to Jeep Chat and was told to check back on Monday (6/10) for an update. From what I understand the color is one of the main factors that determine when your order will start along with the engine and maybe transmission. I'm curious what colors have been built this past week compared to colors that have not.

For those of you that progressed from D1 after the shutdown ended on 6/3 and for those that are still in D1, what are your main specs. that would affect the timing of production? Here is mine:

Ordered 4/24
D1 on 4/26
Still D1 on 6/6 (42 days)
4-door Rubicon
Granite Crystal
3.6 Manual Trans.

BTW, I was told by Jeep Chat a couple weeks ago that it would not stay in D1 for more than 30 days. And then told last week it would not stay in D1 more than 45 days. Tomorrow is the 46th day. Ugh.

For others waiting, when a Wrangler customer receives the window sticker via email, does that imply it's in line to be shipped?

I wouldn't be able to speculate in that regard.

once a vehicle has entered into the shipping process I am only able to see that it is in the shipping process, for further information regarding the shipping process I would need to refer you to the selling dealership.

My dealer told me on Friday 6/7 that while my Jeep is in the shipping process there was no ETA "due to a hold up at the factory with not enough truck carriers for all of vehicles in transit". So sounds like you may be in the same boat. Sooooo close yet so far (still), ugh!!!

Anyone have experience with how long it takes to ship to N.C. after the build is complete and "ready to ship"? I'm guessing its a train to Winston Salem then truck to dealership? I'm in JB status as of today and we take a beach trip leaving 6/29. REALLY want it for the beach!

Awesome! I just checked with Jeep Chat and my build is complete but I'm in JB status "pending installation of additional equipment". The tracker still says Not Found for both Build and Sticker.

I was only in JB for a day or two - so you may be in shipping very soon!

We're 200 driving miles from the final assembly location in Toledo. Wifey and I would be glad to drive to Toledo and pick it up! We'd ask for only 1/2 of the outrageous $1,495 delivery fee back.

I agree! I’m 138 miles from the plant, soooo close!

Yea that's crazy that it's so much when you're so close. I wish Jeep would have an optional package that would allow the owner to pick it up from the factory, like Chevy does with a Corvette. Charge $1,000 and allow the owner to drive it out of the factory .That'll kill two birds with one stone .It'll allow Jeep to get money by selling another package but also will free up a spot on a truck for another Jeep to be delivered . It's a win/win.

I did a "RAW DATA" download and copied the 5k or so entries into Excel. Then sorted by descending order date, and kept those that have "FOUND" in both BUILD and STICKER columns. It looks like they're working on the first couple of weeks of May orders. There are several date errors. Just for giggles.. I left them in.

So Jeep Chat just informed me I am in JB.

It will have to go by rail to Utah and then I can pick it up from the dealer in ID a few days later since it has to go by car carrier. Hoping it is next week!!

What part of Michigan are you in. I'm in Alpena but bought down state in Chelsea. Dealers up here were lazy and only wanted to sell what they had or something nearby.

I purchased in Midland and live close. There were two of the Wrangler build I wanted within 250 miles, but both dealers refused to trade. Soooo, decided to order. I figure if I’m spending this much, I better have what I want!
