I order from Rice too on 12/28. Dealer told me today that it’s waitng on a truck.Rice. Here's a picture of the Jeep plant showing a couple of car carrier loading areas (look for diagonal black oil drippings from trucks in yellow circles).

i have a build sheet and window sticker, but i'm confused as to where find the status; Shipping or KZ. where do i find that info?

You get your status for your VIN, believe only through KZ, via Chat:
https://fcacommunity.force.com/Jeep/s/knowledge. (Chat button)
After that, believe it is all on the Dealer to provide an Est Delivery Date.

I just joined the site with you guys but I've been using this tool for a week or so. I ordered my 2 dr JL Rubicon on 01/22/19. I received my vin a week later. I just did a chat with FCA and she says that "its currently having the trim installed' and should be finished being built in the next few days. Sounds almost to good to be true!!

Looks like they are knocking out all the 2 doors now. My dealer just sent me this. Its here! I'll be picking it up today or tomorrow. exactly two months of waiting.

For all of you trying to figure out why some builds are done faster than others and why some take so long, I just talked to the sales manager of my dealer and he happens to know one of the production managers at the plant. Anyway, here is what he found out:
Let’s say they place an order for 3 of the exact same vehicle at the same time on the same day. Logic would say they would all be built together.
HOWEVER for some reason the plan batches vehicles into A, B and C groups ... no rhyme or reason why. So each of those vehicles could be put into different groups. (For this exercise, let’s assume they do all get assigned to different groups).
The next stage is to wait for the parts to be available. And, when parts come in, they are all allocated to the A group first, any leftovers go to B, and then to C
He further explained, there was a Wrangler he just ordered on 1/3 that is on the same truck as my Wrangler, which was ordered back on 11/13/2018, and barring anything crazy they should both arrive next week.
So, there is zero rhyme or reason to it, once they get into a batch they sit there until the parts are available and THEN they hit production.
My assumption on all the wranglers getting delivered now is that they had a huge batch of parts waiting due to the shutdown and all the orders are being built from multiple groups.
