Hope you get yours soon. That is crazy that you ordered in June and are still waiting. I have seen many get theirs in 3 weeks or less. Which is very frustrating.

I, literally, found out just this morning from Jeep, it was delivered. Still dead silence from my dealer. That doesn't piss me off, but it does disappoint me, especially after last weeks email from him.
"You know I will call or email you the minute I know anything positive and, if not, we will talk Monday either way! Thank you my friend!"

We did not talk Monday, btw.


But, I wouldn't have canceled my order for 4 reasons anyway.

1) Mine is HellaYella. Yellow is the highest resale value color, Hella is discontinued and I don't think there were many Hellas produced in 2021. I have requested FCA give me a number, but you can guess how thats going.

2) Carvana is still offering me 3K more than I'm paying for it.

3) I ordered a stripper so I expected a little delay, just not 15 WEEKS.

4) I wouldn't have gotten my grand deposit back AND my rig would have went on the dealers lot at a $4K market adjustment or at minimum, MSRP.

Sucks the process you went through to get here but I'm happy you finally got it!

Does anyone in Northern CO (Delivery Region Denver) know about what the current shipping timeframe/delays are? My Jeep got its sticker on Thursday and I was told to wait at least 3 days to get the schedule. I figured from reading that the schedule isn't great, so I hope someone else around here has an idea.

Dealer (Peterson in Nampa ID) emailed me today that mine is in transit to the Utah hub and due on 22 Sept.

Gets on a truck from there to Nampa.

I paid full price, ~$150, but I think they’ve got a code now. They fit like a glove. They just slip onto the door and lift off. Literally takes a second to install and remove. It’s secure and does a great job of protecting the door. Whatever you do, make sure you do something. My doors are damaged from the first ride in the new rig before I got the @ThinSkinz

I got a what if and would be interested in your thoughts…

Ive got a JLU on order…just entered 8 weeks with zero updates & progress. Not a great dealer experience so far. Here’s the what if…

if I could find another comparable JLU and can get it purchased at a similar price point should I…

1) inform the 1st dealer and cancel the original order?
or
2) don’t tell them anything, cancel the deposit check (they haven’t cashed).

I’ve got a request in at another dealer on a very similar JLU that’s “in transit”. When I look at the window sticker of this one it doesn’t indicate it’s a customer order or a dealer stock. I don’t know if it would show this.

If you can find one that meets your spec and price I would buy it and cancel your order with the 1st dealer. If you can find a dealer that will sell one near the price you are paying for a custom order consider yourself lucky. Most wranglers on the lot are selling above MSRP. There is a 392 near me that they are advertising at 14k over sticker.
