JL Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

Ordered a JL Sport S for my son.
6/17: Ordered & VON
6/23: VIN (may have had earlier, but day it was e-mailed to me)
6/30: D
7/12: D1, est ship date 7/23

Doesn't look like build got stared before the shutdown. Even with shutdown & 4th of July, still going to beat my JT order that took 6 months...

Based on latest tracker results, looks like from build sheets that hit today, average order date is around 6/2, so may be a few weeks out, but you never know...

Talked to dealer this morning for an update

Current status:

Built and in "JB status" – shipped to body vendor
Since I ordered "dual tops "dealer said this was probably to put my boxed up soft top inside back of Jeep.

Slowly getting closer, 9 weeks since order shipping 2-3 weeks typically to dealer so looking at an August delivery at the earliest.

Just checked with Jeep Chat today:
I still do not have a window sticker? But anyway....

I am showing that your vehicle is in the shipping stage in transit to your ordering dealership, it is now just pending a delivery ETA which will become available closer to the time of delivery. I am in "KZ" status now

Got this from the customer care representative yesterday, add another week to the build

"The Toledo Assembly Complex will take a previously scheduled down week the week of July 12 to perform general maintenance.

At this present time, your vehicle is scheduled – All of the materials needed to start the manufacturing build process have been received and the vehicle should be entering the build process once the plant has reopened."

Did you have Gorilla Glass on your build? Looks to be a diesel and gorilla glass if I’m looking at it correctly.

It looks like I'm on the list of anxious Jeep orders. I got my VON# on 7/15 and no VIN# as of yet. I'm guessing that based on the options I ordered that I'll be on the long waitlist. I have no doubt it will be worth it. Order pic for attention

Cheer up. It can happen. It only takes a day or two to build once they start (unless there is a planned or unplanned work stoppage, or someone F’s up your Jeep on the line and they have to start over). Then it goes to the body vendor for any partner installed options.

The way I understand it, the “ship date” is the date Jeep plans to move the vehicle off their line. In essence, they have “shipped” it. Then all the options that Jeep offers, but does not personally install get added. Then there are other steps after that that can be explained, and have been fully explained in the first post of this thread:

My Jeep was finished on the assembly line on the ship date from my Priced Order
Confirmation. Then the rest of the steps listed in the thread I mentioned above happened.

I ordered my Willys Sport with AC on 4/22 and neither my VIN nor build is found on this tracker, but my dealer is showing it with D status, even though 2 weeks ago it was in D1 status.

Did you add your info to the tracker?

I don't have much faith in jeep chat or the 877 number. They told me yesterday my jeep was built but still at the factory awaiting shipment. I told her it was supposed to have been shipped on the train on 7/8 per previous conversations verified by dealer. She told me it was still at the factory. I picked it up today.

Tomorrow Starts week 6 for me. As of today I have no movement from jeep chat or cypto, other than that my order was placed and I have a VIN. From experience once things start to move, how fast should I expect delivery? Right now I’m worried it might not be until September or later. I can be patient, just want to make sure the dealer will honor my trade value we have in the contract.

They did. One for us and a little one for my son. They were great to work with. I’ve already put on the teraflex 1.5 spacer leveling kit and some new wheels and tires.
