From the time you get a VIN what is the time frame for a build sheet to appear? I’m just curious when I will start being able to see some kind of movement. I know it’s early for me since I ordered a week ago today but I’m just curious

Most people are getting information on activity through Jeep Chat within 1-3 weeks of getting their VIN#. Some are even seeing VIN# to build complete in 2 weeks.

It took 19 or 20 days for my 2 door Rubicon with manual transmission.

Ok. I was thinking this was better than Jeep chat. Guess I’ll check with them. When I try to search on here nothing shows up.

Keep in mind that wait times before a build begins will vary. From what I understand, there is only one Wrangler production facility. They will set up for a run of Unlimiteds with certain options, and a while later reset for 2-doors with certain options. If your order is received right after the line is switched to a model you aren't building, your order will wait until your build type comes back up. If your order goes in at the right time, your build could start much sooner.

But, this is just what I have gathered over the past month. I don't know how accurate my understanding truly is.

Just over 5 months since I ordered! I'm just a bit too far East of the imaginary line on the map though, so you'll get yours before I get mine!

My Jeep was delivered tonight! Salesman called me about 1 hour ago to inform me that it was just delivered and that I can pick it up tomorrow. Ordered 2/23/21

WOW! just got this from the dealer;

" GREAT NEWS!!!! YOUR JEEP IS FINALLY IN TRANSIT!!! It's current ETA is TBD due to a hold up at the factory with not enough truck carriers for all of vehicles in transit. Once it touches ground I will let you know and we can set up a time for you to come and pick her up. Once it does touch ground, I need to get it PDI/Inspected before you can pick it up. "

I know it’s been awhile. How long did it take you to get yours after this message? I’m guessing we use the same dealer because I have the exact same wording from him

Ordered 3/2 --- psyched to see my Build Sheet pop up today! Psyched for delivery day in the near future -- 1st Jeep!

Car is on dealer's lot - picking up this afternoon. 18 days from order (3/2) to delivey --- would never have expected it to happen this fast.

There does seem to be some correlation between builds and destinations, as if they won't start certain builds until they know they'll have a nearly full rail car and/or truckload ready. As to what happens at the assembly plant, however:

Ordered my Sarge Green JLU 4 Door on the 5th and today is the 20th. Jeep Chat said it's been built and is awaiting shipping.

EDIT: I found this code "Special Scheduling Condition VII". Am I wrong to think that had something to do with it?
