I don't think you have to worry about lockdowns. We learned our lesson in the spring - lockdowns don't work. They are going with more targeted measures now (which incidentally also don't work)...but it's unlikely that you would not be able to pick up your Jeep. You MAY very well have to make an appointment well ahead of time and sign the paperwork outside while wearing a radiation suit or something...but you'll be able to get it.

I hope you're right. I also don't think lockdowns are the answer. I mean, we did that once. How did it work out? We didn't stop it. All we did was delay the inevitable and ruin people's livelihood. I think the answers are for people to be smarter, don't gather, wear masks and allow business to operate if they're smart with their procedures. Frankly, IMO this isn't spreading around because of what businesses are doing. It's spreading because of what people are doing with gatherings, not distancing, not wearing masks, etc. Hopefully these vaccines roll out soon and start making this thing a memory.

Also - I don't trust the FCA system at all...it's a complete crapshoot. I just bought a Challenger last month and it took 26 days from the date it was ready to ship to the day my dealer told me it arrived. I was getting updates every few days and they said "we'll give you plenty of notice about when it's going to arrive". Lol...it went - "nope hasn't moved yet", "still hasn't moved yet", "nope still sitting", "GREAT NEWS IT'S HERE!!!". One day it's sitting in the transfer lot in Ohio and the next day it's ready for pickup at the dealer in VA. Uh huh.

Been watching this post for a week now, and new to the forum. Thanks to the moderator and others for doing this service. I ordered my White 2021 Rubicon on 11/12, Dealer told me 6-8 weeks looks like they are running on average 4-6 depending on options or motor choices. it is always a long wait, not my first car I've ordered. but hopefully the wait wont be too long, looks like some others who ordered on 11/10 (Kim1) got a build sheet already, So I am hoping for 5 weeks, that would be great.
