Ordered on 9/23/20 - 2021 80th Anniversary for my wife. Got my VIN, but when I try and enter under "Track New" it tells me invalid nickname when I click search. Anyone offer any help on this?
Provided you've already established a vehicle record using the "Track New" data entry fields: the tool also works when using the VIN for the separate "Lookup Existing" Search function (which is what you'll be using from this point forward. Also, nickname entries are case- and space-sensitive.

I am very frustrated with Jeep at this point to say the least.

Order Number 1) I ordered a loaded 2020 JLURD on 04/14/20. Approximately three days after I placed the order I noticed that the Cold Weather Package wasn't on the order sheet. I contacted my salesman and he assured me that it wasn't too late to add it. I asked several times in the following weeks to get me a confirmation that the Cold Weather Package was indeed added. He continued to assure me that Jeep said it had been added.

On 07/01/20 I received a call from my salesman to notify me that my Rubicon had arrived. The first thing I asked him was, "Does it have the Cold Weather Package?" He said "Hold on let me check.... Oh, man I can't believe it, they didn't add it." I said " I don't want it, I guess I'll be ordering a 2021." :mad:

Order Number 2) On 07/07/20 my order was placed for a loaded 2021 JLURD. On 08/24/20 I was notified that my Jeep was entering production. Approximately 08/28/20 I was told my Jeep was built and sent out for trim and to add additional equipment. I continued to contact Jeep Chat once a week and they keep giving me that same line. They finally referred my case to Jeff at Customer Care, and he continues to give me the same B.S. Nobody seems to be able to tell me what the hell is going on. :mad:

Has any one else experienced this delay? :swear:

I am working directly with our factory ordering resources to have your order expedited/prioritized within our shipping, storage, and inspection queue so we can ensure it moves through the final stages much quicker prior to shipment. At that point, we will be working with our logistics team to both obtain an estimated delivery window as well as have your order prioritized for expedited dealership delivery.

I had the exact same issue just mine was with logistics. Jeff is about as useful as a turd. Its all "feel good" fluff and as far as I can tell no real work behind the scenes.
Yes, I feel that all it is, is canned, lip service responses.

Feel your pain. I ordered 6/15 and had lots of bumps along the way. Never got too much reliable info out of Jeff. But, my Willys finally made its way to Montana on 9/25. Just got it back today after doing some mods.

Today I got impatience and email the dealership for an update and they said is at the rail yard and waiting for a truck to the dealership. An hour later they email me back saying that it just arrive today and I can pick it up tomorrow at 1pm!! Wont be able to sleep tonight...

I got my window sticker 2 days after my build shset. It took another 3 weeks to get to the dealership after that.

You're right, it's very much a guessing game. I got mine within a few days. I've seen them spit out on the same day as the build sheet, a day later, a week later, a few weeks later, a month later, and some that are just sitting in crypto with only a build found and no sticker since months ago. Most eventually show complete, bu if you go through the open orders you'll see that many are sitting there in a sad state of loneliness without a sticker. :LOL:

I'd suggest querying the FCA database regularly. It will show in there first anyway. Crypto isn't perfect. And even if it shows in the FCA database, there's no guarantee that it will be found by crypto. Crypto is good, but not perfect.

I think the worst of is not knowing how the process works.

I've seen a jeep ordered after mine, which is almost identical to the one I ordered, (mine had the tow package) built, shipped and taken home before mine was built. Mine is now waiting for shipping with no ETA yet.

I would feel sorry for myself except after following this thread for the last two months, other people have had it worse than me.
