What kind of time lapse are people seeing between seeing the build sheet a published sticker?
It really depends. Some are a day, some a few days, some go weeks. And don’t ask what it depends on, because no one but the super secret Jeep secret keepers knows! :)

The paint line must be getting bored of slamming out several hundred JLs a day. The workers are posting NSFW pictures of smudges on paint. Hope none of you have a black Jeep ordered and look closely at your door panel...

I checked in with my dealer.......Mines now in JS status. Hopefully waiting for the other Criswell Jeeps to be shipped.
Tell them to grab mine over in inspection. 8 days, surely they've checked everything at least once. Except the loose fuses of course!

Hmm....Then why is 4.10 the only option on the build configuration tool? I don't get it. I really don't care what I get, 4.10 or 3.73, but it is odd that there are discrepancies. With the diesel's low end torque I would think 3.73 would be adequate.

The 3.73 is adequate indeed but 4.10 is a little more future proof for when upgrading to 35" or even 37" tires! I hope my diesel Rubicon comes with the 4.10!

The question is, how will i know that its a 4.10 and not a 3.73?? Is it written somewhere? Or do you guys go by feel??

Thanks! I received the email this morning. I’m not sure why mine dropped off the other day but I’m glad it finally was found again and published this time. Hopefully nothing happened with it that caused the delay.

I would like to know this also. My build sheet says 3.73 but could there be a 4.10 in it? Wouldn’t more be changed on the Jeep like tuning for the different gear ratio. Could this be what holding back diesel orders.

The only foolproof way is to jack up the rear end and see how many times the axle rotates as you do one complete spin of the raised tire. If it's less than 4X you've got 3.73; if more than 4X it's 4.10. I'm sure if I have that backwards someone will correct me.

@DogplasmaPeopleplasma I'm in Tinton Falls - close to Asbury Park - so I'd think mine will go to the Newark yard. Looks like 10 transit days though I wouldn't expect a sample size of six to be credible.
Agreed.....and that’s excellent....grew up right there in ocean twp and bought my first Jeep Wrangler SE in 1990 from the Jeep Store on the asbury circle. Happy waiting! I know it will be worth it for all of us.

Oh so its not easily checked then.. I was hoping its written somewhere on the axle or on the transfer case.. Because i was going to look and verify when i go pick up my JLURD soon..

A little off topic, but I’ve been looking for some kind of side steps for my Willys. I like the look of the rock rails, but I am way too short and need the steps. Any suggestions on something that covers the seam like the rock rails AND has a step but doesn’t require removing the body mount bolts ( I’ve read too many horror stories about those things snapping!)
