Just have received the Sticker for my JLUR... Interesting - TRANSMISSION made in Japan. My dealer said the car is in transit and waiting for truck carriers. So, 4 days after I got my Build sheet.

What happens when you enter your vin in the FCA window sticker app?

It still says window sticker is unavailable for my VIN....not that I check it every 30 seconds or anything....

Also found a thread from 2019 where someone else figured out what company ships them to the dealer and they have a whole tracking system - I've gone so deep on this.

Yes, the dealers have access to a logistics tracking system like Rubicon VLS that once it is consigned to shipping shows each step with time, date and ETA. It updates each time the railcar it is on goes past an RFID reader. If you have a good dealer they can tell you that info.

I ordered my 2 door JL in Sting Gray on 3/17/2020.

The evening before, that day and the next 3/18/2020 - COVID CLOSURE!

4/9/2020 - Email from the dealer gave me VIN and a completion date of 4/23/2020 -- WTF?

AND delivery date window of 4/30/2020 to 5/5/2020 -- DOUBLE WTF??

On 5/11/2020 I received a letter from 'Jeep Brand Headquarters". Blah...blah.. Covid19…. Bla blah … and order number.

5/12/2020 Called VIN invalid - got human on line gave order # - "In sequence"

5/22/2020 Called VIN invalid - got human on line gave order # - "Cued for production"

5/29/2020 Called VIN invalid - got human on line gave order # - "no update, shows "all parts waiting for production"

Today 6/4/2020 Called instead of order number I gave my VIN #. " auto reply: "That does not seem to be a valid VIN number, please hold." Gave order number. " "Yes you’re sequenced for production with delivery to Turlock, California, no dates listed." A Destination, that’s new info and correct.

6/9/2020 Email from the dealer gave me a “rail car load date” of 6/9/2020, yea right.

6/12 and 6/13/2020 Build Sheet and Sticker “found”, yup that’s mine! THANX @nerubi !!!!

6/22/2020 Called Jeep “again” VALID VIN was given a “delivery window” of 6/19 to 7/3/2020

6/29/2020 Dealer called me. It just arrived, we’ll clean and inspect tomorrow. Want to pick it up Wednesday, July 1st? ………………. Ah yea.

7/1/2020 - Transportation Issues ( can’t drive with crutches ) - This one day is on me.

7/2/2020 - 108 days later……………………………

With the FCA systems there is no normal. WestTex42 is getting his delivered today but nothing on Crypto.
