I placed my order mid May and it seems to be going backwards or FCA is using different language. i don't know if the chat agents parapharase and I am being overly sensitive or if they no longer have the vehicle as entering the "build process very soon." I have a bad feeling about the coronavirus orders.

All of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon. Please be advised you can be in this status up to 30 days I would advise checking back next week to see if an update has been made.

The Wrangler is currently in the pre-production stage which means that all of the parts have been gathered so that it can enter into the build process. At this time I do not have an estimate for when the build will begin. I would suggest allowing a week to pass then contact us back for an update, but we are available 24/7 if you do want to contact back sooner.

I agree with Amaruq. It’s the same status. Also, if you want a more accurate update, contact your dealer.

As other's have said it's the same status. But I almost wonder if their canned messages have changed. I have a Gladiator Rubicon on order (ordered 4/22 and VIN on the following day) and I've been following up each day. The responses I've got from them have varied each time, but they are the exact same responses you got on the same days...

Dont feel bad, I placed my order 3/2 and contacted Jeep Cares Yesterday and got the same response. i stopped by my dealer who is down the street from my work, and i went into the back with him as he looked it up, Same with him, showing D1 status, ready for production, however it did show on his screen that est completion was June 6th, but i will believe when i hear it. But thinking positive, they should be moving soon.... We all hope.

I thought my message meant I am not yet D1. I thought D1 is once you get on the system and are scheduled to be built on a specific day. @nerubi had a write up about that.

My hope was I would jump to the front of the line with you guys as a sold order. I wonder how many factory orders they get a year. I doubt more than 1000. So in this window of March-May, I am probably only a day or two behind you.

D1 doesn't mean you are immediately put into production. Mine sat 5 1/2 weeks in D1. No one including factory workers know why some can go into production soon after D1 and why others sit.

If the status stays the same while in D1, there are only so many ways they can relay that status to you. Unless you want it in French.

You didn't follow the thought. FCA changes up what they copy and paste to make it seem like human conversation. It's like the chat bots that mimic humans.

I have received the same exact responses when I checked on 5/22 and 5/26. I didn't check on the other day mentioned. They are definitely rotating their canned responses.
