I am looking for my original base price but here are changes I've identified:

Gorilla Glass was $195 and is now $495
Three piece black hard top was $1,595 and is now $1,695
Off-road camera was $595 and is now $695
Advanced safety group was $795 and is now $895 (not to mention no ACC because of the 6MT)
Cold weather group was $695 and is now $845
LED lighting group was $1,465 and is now $1,595
Trailer tow group was $845 and is now $995

This is over $1,000 of the increase. I didn't list options that didn't increase in price.
Sorry for so many comments. Still figuring out the changes.

Sting-gray paint was $295 and is now $395
OWL Off-road tires were a zero dollar option and now $295

Does this align with anything others are seeing?

Ordered 10/16, two door, 6MT Rubicon and got the sticker today!

The price is showing $2,325 HIGHER than the initial build price. Anyone else seeing this?
Yup. There was a price increase on 1/17. You should be price protected. Gorilla Glass is now $495, among other things.

Yup. All of these should be price protected. I'd really be upset that I paid $295 for tires that won't leave the dealership on the Jeep because I am going 37 with a lift.

Ouch!! Sucks to have a price increase in the middle of a build!
Have to still talk to the dealer, but I do recall him saying the price was protected

. . . realizing each day–
Regarding the price increase. If you ordered, paid a deposit, and have your signed Priced Order Confirmation (POC) hopefully your are good.

Check with your sales person or sales manager, (though I did not). Our dealer honored our 5% under the original sticker price, matching the POC and hand written discount they offered in August.

Not even a question, that is just how the paperwork was drawn when we showed up to bring her home yesterday–

Can we use this whle waiting for our jeeps? I know you have to be a member for at least 30 days before getting the jeep.
i have to call treadlightly because some dealership might not participate.

Jeeps take a while to get built folks. No rhyme or reason as to when they get built. Some get built in a month, while others take 6 months( mine did). No one knows why so sit back and enjoy the suck. As far as price increases, its the way it is unfortunately, inflation is up 7%. Prices on everything these days has gone up and will continue to do so. Any one hemming or hawiing on a new jeep purchase better do so now. What do you think the prices are gonna do throughout the year and every year after?....they go up from here, not down......

Sure inflation is causing producer prices to rise...passing them on to consumers is another matter. Since when are consumers obligated to protect corporate profit margins? I guess you can always "just say no"..

Stuck in D for a month now. Dealer said it went to C, but isn't that backwards?
Hi,

My 22 JLUR did the same thing, was D 12-4 as of Friday back in C status, not real sure why it would go backwards as was waiting on parts, now told waiting on production capacity, so maybe a good thing?

JC said this: Primary schedule established based on production capacity

Regards,
Jim

Not sure why anyone would expect it to go any other way
And we don't want it to! Recently we have heard about transient inflation. I am not political and do not belong to any party. In the US inflation sometimes is low like in recent times (though we then complain about bank interest and bond rates); sometimes high like during the Nixon, Ford, and Carter years.

Thank God we live in the greatest economy in the world and we all are buying product. Deflation or negative growth is not just bad it is kick your ass bad. Recently administrations (Bush, Obama, Trump) have worked to keep inflation artificially low. Today with the pandemic and supply chain issues the actual market is coming out. That is a good thing in the long run. Tough today, difficult to understand or appreciate; but all good. It is all good–

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
I think that most everyone has been patiently waiting, but keep in mind that most everyone believed production was going to start before Dec 16, but the start date for 22s was pushed back til then due to delays in completing 21s. Then there were some days the plant was shut down due to lack of parts and of course the holidays. Then those that ordered in October see December orders being built first….and now the Jan 17 price increase. Doesn’t make for a smooth ride.
I had a Bronco reserved on July 14, 2020, ordered Jan 2021, so if Jeep beats 12-18 months, I'll be happy, lol!

I have enjoyed your posts for months; though had not realized you ordered a MY2021 in Januray of 2021, yet still awaiting arrival? That would be an interesting story. Please share or point me to your thread?

They already beat mine by a mile! My Bronco reservation is 10/14/20 and crickets. Ordered my Jeep 10/25/21, built on 12/23/21 and will be here Monday. I hope you meant yours was ordered Jan 2022? ;)
