Just found this forum after weeks of frustration. Feel a bit more sane after reading around and finding that everyone else is way behind and confused as hell about the process. I've been hounding my sales rep for weeks, he's gotta be sick of me by now. Here's the scoop:

Today he hit me with this:

"GREAT NEWS!!!! YOUR JEEP IS FINALLY IN TRANSIT!!! It's current ETA is TBD due to a hold up at the factory with not enough truck carriers for all of vehicles in transit. Once it touches ground I will let you know and we can set up a time for you to come and pick her up. Once it does touch ground, I need to get it PDI/Inspected before you can pick it up."

I'm getting close! No date yet but I'm hoping to see it before the EOM.

No, red was the second to last color I wanted. Black was the last. But this was literally the only car within 1,000 miles that had the equipment combo I wanted and after watching it for six months and looking for a different color and not finding any, I figured I better jump on it.

The red has grown on me though. Not sorry.

Does the factory have it's own train yard on site? Can completed jeeps be loaded directly onto a train or do they need to be trucked somewhere else for loading onto a train?

It looks like it! Also learned the rail cars are double deckers?

I completely changed how it scans orders. It also can ignore super old ones and does better decoding of the vin to determine engine and model.
I also found a bunch of Vins that were invalid. Obvious typos like ! Instead of 1 and stuff.

Sorry you weren’t able to get value from the site. Maybe your next order.
