As if being in D status for 44 days isn't bad enough.......School started this week around here. And the Jeeps are everywhere! I feel like an outcast. I want to be a cool kid.

New Jeeps appeared like coronaviri after I got mine in January. A shiny new Gladiator appeared about four weeks later. Four weeks after that there was a JL parked on the street. Four weeks later three more appeared in the surrounding two blocks. Five weeks later there were probably five or six more.

I'm a trend setter. Well, excuse me. Anaximander is a trend setter.

I checked with my dealer (Guptons in TN) yesterday and he said that there's an estimated ship date now showing for my JLU of 8/17. When I probed to find out how long the actual shipping takes, he said typically 10-14 days.

I'm not going to hold my breath that the 8/17 number is accurate (based on delays that others have shared), but if it is, I'll be tickled pink.

I ordered on 7/16.

Awesome. Use the Sales Love Guy! Your scheduled a day ahead of me. Build should start Wed-Friday for us. All depends on options. I’d start checking with the Sales persons then. The build is quick, what slows the build down is the options added. I added a crap ton, so we will see how it goes.

Really, really confused with these order, build, and ship dates. I've not even been waiting that long as I ordered 7/2. So WTF is going on with people who ordered only a couple weeks ago getting build and ship dates well before me? I'm sure those who ordered well before me are ready to commit Hari Kari! The brass at Jeep need to be forced to read this forum first thing every day to understand how crazy their scheduling process is and the level of frustration felt within their community. This is nuts.
