I'm in the market for a new bumper, and I'm running across significantly different price points based on JL & JK (JL costing more).

Check these two - almost $100 difference and the detail pics are the same images.

TL;DR - when searching for a bumper for my JL, can I include bumpers that show for a JK in my search?

I can't personally confirm but I have seen quite a few forum members say that the front bolts right up. the rear won't fit

DV8 offers a bumper bracket that'll help ensure a JK bumper can fit on a JL:

These are around $80 and add 8 lbs.

Interchanging JK/JL bumpers are hit-and-miss (mostly hit) whether they'll fit without modification or spacers, but as long as you're willing to drill or grind just a tiny bit, you can make anything fit.

Thanks, so if I like a JK bumper, I can give it a go. Worst case is I need to spend the 80 on the brackets.
