On a recent camping trip while exploring we visited the Reward Mine and on the way to the mine you pass over an old military airstrip.

Well naturally we couldn't pass up an opportunity to have some fun! In the clip is my stock powertrain 2020 2.0 vs. a 2015 JK (unknown mods if any to engine/intake/exhaust) vs. a 2012 stock engine with an aftermarket exhaust.

All 3 vehicles were fully loaded down with a weekend's worth of camping gear. I usually notice very little turbo lag when empty around town from a dead stop but there was DEFINITELY a lag fully loaded with gear!! All vehicles were lifted on 35's.

The 2 JKU's took off and jumped out in front of me right from the start... then my turbo went to work

I'm thinking' my JLUR diesel fully loaded woulda took it......lol
12 less wheel HP, ~400 pounds heavier & a gear ratio that's roughly 9% taller? I would be interested to see how the 3.0 would do in a drag race. After the lower gears, the numbers aren't really in it's favor.
