JL Unlimited Altitude - Largest Tire, Factory Wheels w/no Lift

Picked up a JL Unlimited Altitude a few weeks ago and I've got the itch for some large aggressive tires. Wondering two things:
1. What's the largest tire someone's installed on the 18" factory wheels without a lift?
2. Are there any pictures floating around? I've literally looked everywhere I could think.

You should have no trouble with 285/65r/18's but anything bigger than that you may have to modify/lift. I actually replaced the wheels on my Altitude with 17x9" ( -12 offset) and went with 285/70r/17 BFG KO2's. i recommend going with new wheels if you have the budget for it. it completely transformed my Jeep. If you stick with your stock wheels you may need spacers to prevent rubbing.

its a sport so 265s and you will not need to redo the speedo and with 285s it should work out good i ran with that setup for awhile on my sport s. if you are not look at doing much off roading get the 265s it will look like a jeep but you will not lose out on highway performance. and you can use any 4.75 backspacing rims -6 offset with no rubbing. if you want i can go outside and take a picture of mine with 285s on a -6 offset.

I ran 35's on my sport before I put on Rubicon suspension, I dont see why you couldn't do the same

Would love to see some pics! But thought the Sport had 17” wheels?

they do i have aftermarket wheels that are 17s but mine are only -6 offset with no rubbing at all on 285s. you can get away with 265s and not have to worry about new wheels it will just be 10 inch wide tires over the standard 8 to 9 inch ones you got from Jeep. -6 will stick out about 1 to 2 inches on a 11 inch wide 285 tire
