JL spare tire carrier

Will a stock JL spare tire carrier handle a 275 70 18 tire without hitting/rubbing on anything?

I carry a 37 on a stock tire carrier and stock bumper on my JLUR. I am switching out when my ACE tire carrier and bumper come in though. So it may fit on your JL, I believe the Rubicon has a slightly different tire carrier that the other models.
