    Greetings fellow Jeepers,

LoD Offroad here, and we would like to share with you a concept render of the new patent pending sliding roof rack we will be releasing in early 2019! Questions and comments are always welcome! Stay tuned for more release info and photos!

The rack will be bearing operated for super smooth operation, and will be able to move with gear on top for ultra convenience. A removable ladder will be an add-on option, as well as a wind deflector for the front. The construction will feature durable latches, and a reversable mechanism.

Will it work with a soft top and be able to fold the top back while rack is slid over to the side? Looks awesome so far

Is there an email list we can add ourselves to so we can be informed of when this is released?

I want to know this too. However it seems that these things end up being counterintuitive to soft top operation, which is sad considering that we are the group that could arguably use it the most.

I too would like to be on an email list for updates on this rack.... unless the price point is as ridiculous as the others that are available for JLU as of now.

Any general idea on price yet?

I don’t ge it. What’s the purpose? Slides and then what? Is it supported or just drops on the side of the car? Please someone enlighten me.

I assume it slides so that the hardtop can be removed without removing the rack.

I wonder if anyone will make a rack that will work with the Power Sliding Top?

It looks like it might work with a soft top. would not be able to do the sun rider configuration. don't know if the rear corner brackets would hinder the removal of the side window or not.

To me, it does not look like there is enough room for the rack to slide back once the soft top is in the first position.

I agree with you assessment that rack can be slid while fully loaded.
