Ok folks, Here's my updated Mall Crawler fresh from the shop. My first ever Jeep. For Phase 1 decided on 20 x 9 , + 18 mm OS, KMC-XD Grenade wheels with 295/55R20 Toyo Open Country RT tires. No lift yet, as waiting for optimal kits to be sorted out, then probably going to 35's . These Toyo's are listed as 32.8" dia, and to my Jeep newbie eyes it looks like slightly larger can still be installed w/o any lift.

I don't think you have to lift it. Looks perfect the way it is...I'm glad to see your post. Now I can see what a +18 offset looks like.

Looks great and I like how the wheels/tires don’t come out to far past the fenders. Any issues w/ rubbing at all w/ the +18mm offset?

Visually there's plenty of room all around inside the wheel well with this set-up. I haven't done any articulation or flex test yet to verify, but my guess is zero rubbing will occur anywhere. Road noise not much louder at all than stock. Have noticed a little bouncier of a ride though, but maybe reducing the tire pressure from current 37 down a few PSI will help that too.

That +18mm offset looks excellent with 12”ish tires.

So after the articulation and flex test 0 rubbing? Im looking at 20x10 with 285Ă—60r20 still can't decide what offset to get

I see you're in the same boat as I was but I think I may have made my mind. I ordered a 20x10 with -12 offset. I could change my mind but I plan on using a 275/60/20....The 285x60x20 are just hella expensive

I was looking at 275/60/20 until I found a set of wheels that I liked that required wider tires so I got stuck with 285s. They are expensive man I was on the fence for the longest time, but gotta pay to play lol. Im looking at 430cad a tire Ă—5

One day at a time dude, just one day at a time. Soon you'll have rims and tires on, then it's on to the next mod :like:

It does look nice. Since you've had this set up a few months now, how do you like it? How did it affect the ride, speedometer and gas mileage?

I have the same 33's but have 17 inch wheels. I went from 24 mpg average to 23 now and the speedo is off by 1 mph at around 50 or so.
