I did full flex this morning, up against the bump stops. I didn't rub anywhere. Maybe luck of the draw? Who knows?

37's and 2.5" spacer lift. Maybe some that are using spring lifts aren't getting the lift they are assuming??

What extended length are your front shocks and were you forklift/ramp flexing? I imagine your setup may not allow enough droop to shift the axle alot. This is where mine got into some heavy rubbing on passenger front.

Here is my contribution. 2020 JLUR on Method MR702s with 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. First picture is with no lift, others are a Mopar 2" lift with @Clayton Off Road track bars and control arms.

Shifting gears and looking at black Method 312s... is there a benefit or preference to the 17x9 and the 17x8.5? Offset appears to only be an additional 1/2" negative. Trying to decide if that is too much but looks like 4.5 backspacing is "ideal" for most people.

Are the simulated ring bolts really removable? I assume you could replace with gold grade 8 bolts or pant the stainless bolts black if you wanted, correct???

Found this pic online. Love the look.

The bolts are supposedly removable but the simulated ring is not so after scraping them up off-road it’s probably not all that worth it to put new bolts in when the wheel is all scraped up. JMO.

haha. sooo... I thought the same thing. I actually confirmed with northridge that the ring itself was not removeable. So weird... but, I kind of wanted to replace the stainless bolts with gold grade 8 bolts. I know, just for looks. but I think it looks better.

Well that is a little different thaN just replacing them because they got damaged. Gold would look good and if you don’t off-road hard and scrape them up its not an issue

Do you have the bronze version or are yours the real beadlock?

Hey! Love your set up! Which model Methods are these? What are the dimensions you decided upon? I'm on the mad wheel hunt now and these would be killer on my rig. Thanks!

Is there any way to visually tell the difference between a Method 312 that is 17x9 and one that is 17x8.5?

What does this look like?

Jeep Wrangler JL JL Rubicon on Method Wheels...let's see em! jlur method MR312 9
Tough to tell based on a pic...but it looks like 17x9 with 4.5 backspacing on 37" Toyo MT's. A 17x9 wheel with 4.5 backspacing pushes the tire 1/2" further away from the body for 1/2" more inner clearance vs. the 17x8.5 with 4.75 backspacing. I'd definitely go with the 17x9 for clearance for bigger flex wheelin. That extra 1/2" of inner clearance makes a difference flexing 37s. :jk:

Thanks! I think I found a pic of the 17x8.5 on a gladiator and I don’t think they concave as much. So I think you’re right, I think those are 17x9. I was really worried about stuff sticking out too much. Looks, flicking crap on the side, scrub radius.... I just read your build thread. And like you stated there, MC and RK both recommend 4.5 backspacing or less. I fee like that is the “standard”. I don’t know. I also talked to someone on Instagram that has the same 17x8.5 and 4.75 that you do and they wish they had less backspace. Hmmm.
