Up for sale is a brand new rubicon hood that was taken off a 2019 for an aftermarket hood to be installed. This hood had 0 miles on it and is black in color. These hoods are not yet available for sale through mopar and retail for 1200 new unpainted without accessories. They'll fit every model including Sport, Sport S, and Sahara, as well as gladiators. I'd prefer local pickup in PA however I will travel if a deal is made. I am asking 1400 or best offer for the hood. If interested text 717-269-1281

Your facts are a little off. They are available to buy from Mopar I paid $760 for mine though my local dealer which included the vent inserts and inside liner (complete hood package). Granted that was primed however I paid $350 for paint ($1100 total and installed which is about a 2 hour job to remove old and install new).

15% Mopar discount there seems to be one quite often. You can print that receipt and likely get a dealer to match it (others have)

Retail for $1200, and asking $1400, because its already painted. Used is still used. Zero miles?? Show me any, and I mean any, new vehicle, on any car lot, with zero miles.

Rubicon Hood for JL wholesale from dealer is 480 plus 2 vents $35 each, and paint 150-200 depending on color and labor............... so about 700 "new"..............................if you find a sucker out there for 1400 let me know i have some stock parts as well

I'm planning on buying the rubi hood tomorrow. When you replaced your hood with the rubi, did you need any other hardware or was all hardware transferred from your other hood? Also I noticed in some videos the Rubi silencer pad has kind of a shinny water proof lining on the back so it can push the water out the side from the vents. Did yours have this? Just want to make sure I'm ordering the right parts. Thanks a million. Putting this on a WILLYS.

I just swapped. You transfer everything from original hood except the liner. I had to order a liner from Quadratec and should be here tomorrow. Easy swap. Make sure you have a trim tool. Makes swapping over rubber trim at edges of hood much easier.

Thanks for the reply! Do you have the liner part number you ordered? I'm trying to figure out if the liner I ordered has the water proof shinny backing like this picture. My sport model didn't as it didn't need to drain water coming in from the vent but the one I ordered didn't look like it had it either.

Yes you need that otherwise the water will drain on the engine. I am in Washington so that was a big deal for me
