I have gear whining sound in 4 low. Not sure if that’s normal or if it needs broken in. Never drove a new Jeep before,

Any thoughts or advice?

Slight whine is normal, as long as it doesn't get louder with mileage.

It sounds like an old muscle car with the rear end gears on the right side of the tolerances.

Not super high pitched but noticeable.

Both my JK and JL have a similar whine in low range. While none of us can diagnose it here, at least you know it is very possible that it is normal.

I am going to assume it’s fine. If you all had replied any whine is bad I would be concerned.
