I literally just ordered my Rotopax and locking mounts about 5min ago and this thread alert popped into my inbox as I was wondering how things were going for you.

This all looks awesome.
Hoping to get testing done soon. Just ran into a few issues at powder coat which is causing some delay on getting the test unit back to me. Hopefully I'll have it early next week!

Do you mind if I ask what specific mounts you ordered? I want to make sure I get mounts that can be locked.

Ya, go with the DLX or LOX mounts, the standard ones don't tighten the rotopax down very good. There is the option to run a cable lock through the handle of the rotopax and through the caddie itself, if you don't want to use the LOX mounts for whatever reason.

Here are some teasers for you all. Shown below is the Adventure Caddie (main carrier), license plate/camera/third brake light bracket, sandwich plate and camera housing. Powder coat came out really nice!

Really happy with the new traction board module, as I was able to keep the weight way down and still have the strength.

I will be putting some hard miles on the unit this week and next week. Just need to snag some photos for the website and it will be up for pre order. Probably in the next 3 weeks, ideally before April.

The traction board mount with the rotos is by far the best idea I have seen for spare tires. There are only a few other options and the one that goes over the window is 600$ plus. This would be a big seller in my book. Mark me down for one

Thank the folks on the forum for bringing traction board thing up. I really like being able to take the feedback of the consumer and make the best possible product.

I am truly excited to get mine ordered. Having to throw my boards where ever really sucks so this solution is perfect
Thanks for building this for us

Looks great, this checks two boxes for me. I've been struggling to find a good MaxTrax mounting solution, and just had some Rhino-Rack mounts come in that I was going to make modifications to, but even then I'd run into issues with having an awning on the driver side of the rack, and need a spot for the RTT ladder to mount to on the passenger side. No real space left for the traction boards. I can still run the 4 gallon Rotopax on the TrailRax for the long trips, but your design would be used a whole lot more.

Looking good. What size rotopax are those?

Next time your testing can you snap a pic showing the clearance to the passenger side tail light with the tailgate open fully?
