JL rear frame section same as JK?

is the rear jl frame section where the bumper mounts different than the jk frame section. i know that the jl frame is redesigned and you cant use a jk front aftermarket bumper on a jl. just wondering if by any chance a rear jk aftermarket bumper would fit the jl.

I vaguely recall that the rear bumper mounting points were different. Can it ultimately be done? Yes but it won’t be a plug and play install. Modifications needed.

@Notorious thanks. thats what i'm thinking. the other thing was if a jk bumper will fit on a jl body. i'm kinda drawning a blank. but is the body on a jl a bit wider than a jk body.

Actually, a few front JK bumpers fit the JL, it was big news back in 2018. The rear, I don't recall ever seeing a single match.

@mwilk012 i've heard that and i cant recall if i looked at the jk bumpers that fits the jl. however i did see that dv8 makes the adapter brackets for the jk bumpers to fit the jl frame.

its funny that dv8 can make the front adapter brackets. but nothing for the rear. which makes me thinks that there are some jk bumpers would fit. if so, which ones.
