The Motor City Aftermarket, M1 Rear Bumper for the JL has clean, strong lines. The optional brake/reverse lights give more visibility to the rear and the frame-mounted shackle mounts are strongest in its class.

The M1 Rear Bumper for the JL is manufactured in the US on the same line as parts for the Abrams M1. Our products are more than just "military grade". They are built with TANK DNA. Our rails come powder coated with a lifetime warranty on structure and 5 year warranty on the coating.

Do you have any photos showing where/how the license plate relocation bracket mounts?

EDIT: Also, what’s the thickness of your steel M1 rear bumper?

@motorcityaftermarket or anyone else who has installed this bumper, any issues with the placement of the backup sensors with relation to a 33” or 35” spare on the factory carrier? The inner sensors look like they might be close. TIA

Installed the bumper the evening after delivery. Though not spelled out in the installation instructions, the license plate bracket goes on loosely before mounting the bumper to the Jeep. Then, double-check the license plate bracket clearance to swing the tailgate open before tightening everything up. The bumper install was otherwise straightforward. I like this bumper’s clean and trim look on my JLU Sport.
