Husband picked up his 2019 2D Rubicon on Friday. He's 6' and long in the torso. He's got the seat all the way down and can't see the speedometer unless his seat back is angled severely and uncomfortably.

Has anyone found a fix to not seeing the gauges? Anyone make replacement dashboard?

I know several people on this thread think it isn't a big deal or that it is a simple seat adjustment but we've tried adjusting the seat.

He did test drive a 2018 Sahara jl and 2018 jk and didn't seem to have this issue.

YUP, no problem with my JLR--

Seat all the way back, front of seat UP, slight angle on the seat back and steering wheel adjusted up and out--

I have no trouble and I'm 6'3"-

Do you know if there was a change in seat design between the 2018 and the 2019?

Would the 2018 seat be an easy change out?

I'm 6'0" and I have noticed that the very top line is slightly blocked, but I sit a little further forward and upright than is most comfortable for me to allow extra leg room in the back. If I slide and recline back a little bit then it's fine.

I've read several comments about this so I'd like to dive a little deeper. To those of you that have had your JL for a little while... is the view of the top of your gauge cluster "cutoff" when you're in your most comfortable driving position due to it being blocked by the "lip"? If so... how tall are you and what are your experiences with this issue?
Yes, I cannot see the top left/right customized info. I like the high riding position. 5-10.

I have no issue normally, but while navigation is visible the digital speedo gets cut out of view

It's unfortunately the dash that cuts off the view for many of us, not the steering wheel.

Yah, if I decline the seat way back it’s fine. I don’t like driving from that position. JK has clear view.

I’m 5-7 and have slight issue but it’s because I like my seat high! The reason is so I can see my front fender. By seeing it I get a better idea of how close I am when parking!

I do have issues with the seat lowering itself whenever I get out of the Jeep though. If my weight gets on the handle it goes down a notch. Lol.
