You aren't missing anything, the jeep builder on the website is a little outdated, they haven't even increased the MSRP yet on there. Like Chicago mentioned, you'll have to order it at the dealer level to see the option.I see you order 2.0 L engine, however, when I'm on official jeep website, I only 3.6 L engine option. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks ins advance.
Same here, I just gave them an out the door number, and they got as close as they could. No special memberships necessary (though I did play 2 dealerships against one another).Hey guys,
I was at the dealership last week and ended up buying a 4 door JL rubicon. What I noticed was I was able to get a better price doing good old fashioned negotiating than using the 1 percent under invoice discount.
I got a 4 door rubicon stick shift with premium audio, LED lighting, and 3 piece freedom top. MSRP price for this is $44,975. Invoice price for this is $41471 and 1 percent under invoice is $41056. I was able to get it at about 4 percent under invoice at $40,208 with just your average negotiating.
Point of the post is, if you’re getting a new JL from the lot, I would try old fashioned negotiating first before bringing up tread lightly or any other companies that offer 1 percent under. Hope this helps
All standard on a Rubicon those are 33 inch tiresAll: I'm looking at this image posted by JPB.
I feel this is lifted - is this standard for all rubicons? Or do you have to pay extra for this?
Tires: What is the size of these tires, and are they standard as well?
Heat vents on the hood: Is that standard?
Which dealership in california? I live in CA (San Francisco side) I'm deciding which dealer to go to. How did you negotiate - did you ask to show invoice price and asked for 2.5% below?Once I seal the deal, I will be happy with the price I got. I did the shopping, got a 2.5% below invoice, and I decided I would not worry about it.
In California, that was not a bad deal.
Thanks chicago, that is very helpful. Its like free lift upgrade when buying rubicon (compared to sport). All standard on a Rubicon those are 33 inch tires
Yes the fenders are higher as well and you can put 35 inch tires on with no lift as wellThanks chicago, that is very helpful. Its like free lift upgrade when buying rubicon (compared to sport).
simplejl - which dealership in CA? I live in Sunnyvale and deciding on which dealers to go to. Looking for JL Rubicon. Most people are pulling 5% below invoice across the country.
Well, at least those that are educated.
I got 6% below myself out in California.
I went to Cole Chrysler Jeep. Tyler Wise the contact. I thought he was strait forward and honest with me.Which dealership in california? I live in CA (San Francisco side) I'm deciding which dealer to go to. How did you negotiate - did you ask to show invoice price and asked for 2.5% below?
Is your dealer honoring your price since the $710.00 invoice increase on March 1st? Mine has not committed either way. Said we would have to wait until the day we pick it up.This was my deal
